Privacy policy

In plain language: which data this site processes, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

Processing carried out via this site

1. Contact and quote request form

Data processed: name, phone number, email (optional), town or postcode, type of request, message content.
Purpose: responding to your contact, call-back or quote request.
Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Recipients: the France Serrure team only. Data is never sold, shared or used for any other purpose.
Retention: for the duration of the request, then at most 3 years after the last contact for prospects; contractual documents and invoices are kept for the legally required periods.
Optional consent: the “tips and news by email” checkbox is separate, optional and never pre-ticked. It has no effect on your request, and you can withdraw this consent at any time (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

2. Phone calls

When you call us, your number may be displayed and used to call you back about your request (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Calls are not recorded.

3. Analytics

This site currently uses no analytics tool and sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Technical logs

The hosting provider generates technical logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) needed for security and service operation (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). Our application itself writes no personal data to its logs. An anti-abuse rate limiter processes the IP address temporarily in memory, without retention.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data. To exercise them: contact contact@girondefranceserrure.fr with proof of identity. We reply within one month.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data-protection authority): 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, applies strict security headers, validates and filters all incoming data server-side, and rate-limits submissions to prevent abuse. Form requests are forwarded to our processing tools without intermediate storage on the site’s server.

Cookies

Details of cookies and trackers, and how to change your choices at any time, are on the cookie policy page. As currently configured, this site sets no cookies requiring consent.

Updates

This policy may evolve, in particular if a new tool is added. The online version is authoritative.
